Tuesday dawned sunny, clear and warm, with abundant melting. The temperature was about 35 deg., or 75 degrees warmer than it was about a week ago*.
South Pierre Street, Pierre early on a February morning.
The mind boggles, because 35 is still not what one would call warm. *Nerds: That's about a 42 deg. C delta, with the current temperature being about 2 degrees C. And that low point? It's minus 40...in either scale.
